What's New at the BEA Story Archive (2002)

A couple more stories from the backlog:

Wow! I've been going back through my mail archives to see what had come in during the past ten months when I was only able to keep the story archive limping along, and I'm surprised to find quite a few new stories were submitted. I'm working diligently to edit and post them, but it'll probably be at a fairly steady rate of 6-10 per week for the next few weeks. All told, it looks like I have about 15 new stories waiting in the Inbox, which had been stuck there during the various trials and tribulations of the past ten months (moving the BEA servers, losing my ISP, changing my own home computer, etc). Today's new stories are the first batch of that bunch, along with the new stories submitted this past week:

• Quadhouse just this week sent in two stories: the final part to The Gammas (Part 2), in which the sorority magic war comes to a close (minimal actual BE, but lots of large breasts), and the sweet and intriguing The Keeper (Part 5), where Lisa deals with her relationship to the newly-powerful magician Robert and his complex life.
• Dr. Enlarge broke radio silence a few months back to submit Crop Busting, a BE story literally set in a cornfield, as a teenage boy suddenly notices that the local girl he's known for years is quite endowed.
• New author I Hate Raymond emailed me a story back in March called Friends Through Thin And Not So Thin, a cool little ditty about a couple of girl friends who find they can wish for each other's body parts, and sexy fun follows.
• New author Joe Bloggs sent in a strange story just this week titled The Abduction, a short short story about a man who is abducted by aliens, turned into a woman and forced to have an alien baby. Mainly TG, but the BE is there, too.
• New author Double H handed me Big Busted Eve, a dark-themed little story about an insecure overweight boy who grows up to be a plastic surgeon just so he can handle inflating tits. Then, one day, he meets the girl who once spurned him in school. Now she wants to be a little... bigger...

3-Sep-02:
The bulk of the graphic interface reworking is done, with new colors and buttons, and more consitency between the pages. Easier to read the front page, and it now includes the number of stories in the archive. Next weekend, assuming my ISP will stay up, I'll be posting a bunch of new stories! (I've been having a terrible time trying to keep connected to my ISP; they tell me I'm just too far away to get a good connection...)

30-Aug-02:
Updated and got the Best Sellers pages working so they now have correct current reading statistics, and past stats going back to June 1, 2002. Rewrote the automated machinery which will automatically generate new statistics pages every day and automatically recalculate story ratings for the "By Authors" indexes. whew!

Two more stories today, both in the free area, as I get closer to finishing the backlog of stories in my inbox...

• Billy Breed sent in part 2 of the Breed's Hill tale sometime late last year or early this year (my mail got really messed up back then). Breed's Hill 2: Rob's Story is another tale of the mysterious effect the rural community of Breed's Hill has on people. Rob and his lovely wife have been living there for some time and seem to find themselves much sexier -- and much hornier. This make's Rob's life even harder when the local farmer picks him up in his truck, and his gorgeous farmgirl daughters come along...
• New author Mil Spec just emailed me a really neat science fiction tale called ...Keeps the Autodoc Away. Set in the far future, a lazy and fat couple find a way to hack into a pirate "autodoc" (an automatic medical machine) and have it "cure" them into fantastic shape. But when they ask it to put their excess mass into their sexual extremities, the results aren't quite what they expected...

• Leroy sent me this short tale a long time ago and I've only just found it in my "pending" file as I clean out my queue. Beware Fish With Gifts Part 1 is part Southern hick tale, part fairy tale, as a Southern fisherman catches a magical fish. Instead of wishes, though, the fish decides to punish the fisherman for his audacity (isn't that a bit more realitic, now?). Here's hoping Leroy comes back and finishes this tale some day!
• Quadhouse took the time last month to submit The Gammas, a nice setup for a breast-growing tale at a sorority house on a magical campus. The breast growth happened off-screen at the start of this one, but you can tell there's plenty more to come!
• New author Paladin sent in a lovely story called Make a Wish , in which a man gets the power to grant wishes in order to change other people. It starts small, but is soon snowballing into orgy-oriented fun!
• New author error403 considers what it might be like if you grew up with the power to morph yourself, in The Power To Change. A perfectly believable scenario results as the boy learns to hide his power but can't resist going to school as someone else on a regular basis. Before too long, he has two honest-to-goodness "identities" to live in, and that's only the start.
• New author MowerMan wrote an epic "modern fantasy" tale called The Red Cloak, in which a girl finds a magical sex-themed cloak from the distant past and makes a dress with the material, and all sorts of magical mayhem result.

26-Aug-02:

• New author Captain Fixit joined up by sending in a members-area-only story, a nice little gem about Shannon, a college girl who earns spare money working in the library. One day she finds a book which suggests that to change your body, you just have to unlock the power of your mind. Then, things begin to get very weird and very sexy, in Believe Everything You Read!
• Joe Average, one of our favorite authors, returns with a smile-inducing charmer he had Al send in to me about a month ago called Double Wide Park. In this one, he merges famous Scottish legends with Appalachian trends, mixes in a healthy helping of huge tits, and brews up a chuckle or two as a couple of visitors to a West Virginian town hear of the legend of Double Wide Park, a mythical place where bounteous women appear only at the right time.
• New author Megameg submitted Larry's Wishes, a fun tale in which Larry finds a genie. After wishing for ultimate wealth, he naturally wishes to have the power to control his and others' bodies, then has lots of fun changing himself, his girlfriend, and others.

17-Aug-02:
Finally tracked down the members area stories which had gone missing in the last server transfer a few months back, and reloaded them into the archive. Members Area stories are now also listed (though not linked) in the free area, so people know what stories are there even if they don't have member access. Also, likewise, the free stories are now listed in the members area (it used to be completely separate, which the Owner pointed out to me was kind of a pain for members - you had to check two archives instead of one).

The "lost" members stories have been entered into the archive dated as today, even though they originally appeared in the Members Area sometime in 2001. Since they were lost for so long, I decided it's better to have people err on the side of reading them again rather than missing them entirely.
